The Friends of Veterans Memorial Park (FOVMP), a 501c3 fundraising organization, formed to work with the City of Davenport and its Parks Department to raise funds to implement subsequent phases of Park development..

Complete the River Overlook, the crushed limestone circular walking path, the permanent brick paver walk,

the asphalt connector path from the Flag Pole area to the River Overlook, the concrete Bike path between the River Overlook and the railing along the Mississippi River. It also plans to complete an amphitheater in this phase of the upgrade in 2023.
